Leo's Birthday Hike at Ladder Canyon
Today we celebrated our friend Leo's 89th Birthday by hiking the Ladder Canyon Trail. All three of his daughters, Sue, Chris and Cindy were there too! Dan and Linda's friends, Steve and Christy, joined us for the very first time and were amazed. Gordon and I could never forget Leo's birthday because it was our anniversary too! Celebrating Niece's Birthday
On my niece's birthday last month we celebrated and had dinner at Maki-Maki California Japanese Cuisine at The River in Rancho Mirage. We both love sushi! After that we went over to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to take the following picture.

Mary's 95th Birthday
On Wednesday, May 6th, there was a big surprised birthday party for my dear friend, Mary Mealely at Woodhaven Country Club . Mary will be 95 on May 23, 2009.
Mary was playing bridge with the girls at the club when she was interrupted by a friend. She was told someone was waiting for her in the bar dining room. Boy, was she surprised when she saw a room filled with all her friends yelling "Surprise!" See above video.
Mary is the most amazing person I have ever met. She is active in golf, bridge, and does pilates every morning. This beautiful lady who is 95 years young (doesn't look her age) is my inspiration for growing older gracefully. Click Here to view pictures.

Today's Ella's 7th Birthday
Today's our granddaughter, Ella's 7th birthday. It seemed like yesterday she was just a little baby. Time is going by way too fast!

Happy Birthday!
Today's my mom and Pumpkin's birthdays, both born on Halloween. Pumpkin is 15 years old today and Mom, well, we won't go there, lol! She would kill me if I told anyone she was born in 1928. Oops! Trick or Treat! Happy Halloween to everyone!
