Veterans Day

On Veterans Day we give thanks and honor of those who served in our nation's military.

Power Outage - Palm Desert, CA

Last night our electricity went out in Palm Desert. The power went off around 8:30 PM. It was only out an hour but it felt like eternity without a computer or television. I never did find out why the power went out. I just hope it doesn't happen any time soon again.

Fish Tacos for Dinner - Fisherman's Market & Grill

Today, hubby and I worked hard cleaning out the garage. I must say, we got a lot done but still more to do. It started to get dark early, so we decided to go out for dinner.

We went to Fisherman's Market & Grill and had fish tacos. Made with grilled corn tortillas loaded with fresh fish and topped with shredded cabbage. Will have to get this again next time. It was great!

Beautiful Sunset - Palm Desert, CA

Celebrating Mom's Birthday

My mother's birthday is on Halloween. We celebrated her birthday at Shame on the Moon in Rancho Mirage. We had a lovely dinner and lots of treats.

Halloween - Remembering Pumpkin

Our beloved dog, Pumpkin, was once dressed up for Halloween. Today would have been his 17th birthday. I miss my little devil.
