Friday Night Fireworks - Waikiki Hilton

Every Friday evening, we watch fireworks from our friends, John and Darlene's, lanai. This Friday we decided to walk to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa to watch from the beach.

Just as we made it to the Hilton the fireworks started. We only missed a little bit at the beginning. I couldn't see through the trees so I walked to the beach to get a better view. The Hilton Hawaiian Village does a great job displaying spectacular fireworks!

Penguins and Turtles - Hilton Hawaiian Village

At the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu, I saw a lot of exotic wildlife. The most impressive, to me, were the African Black-footed Penguin and turtles.

I thought penguins were only in cold weather, however, These warm-weather penguins do great in Hawaii. You will notice in the video these penguins have wing bands which sport their names. The males are banded right and females banded left.
