Girl's Night Out 2013 - Then & Now

"Girls Night Out" is Woodhaven Women's Golf annual banquet and awards ceremony. After dinner members of the club put on skits to entertain the gathering. This year's theme, "Then & Now" was held on April 16, 2013.

We had lots of laughs and even had a male party crasher! Ron Boon disguised himself by dressing up like a woman and was blending in by sitting with the ladies at one of the tables. We know he came for the booze and the food, but he didn't fool us one bit! Ha Ha!

A Special Thanks to Lorrie Tuerk who organized this show. The above video shows several short movie clips of some of the skits we did between 2004 through 2013.

Girl's Night Out is Woodhaven Women's Golf annual banquet and awards ceremony. After dinner members of the club put on skits to entertain the gathering. This year's theme, Woodhaven's Got Talent??, was held on April 16, 2012. Special Thanks to Lorrie Tuerk who did a tremendous job organizing this show. It was fantastic! The Buddy Dog Act is just one out of the nine performed in the show.

Girl's Night Out was dedicated to friend and member of the Woodhaven Country Club, Zel Dade, who passed away earlier this year.

Last Tuesday was "Girl's Night Out" at Woodhaven Country Club, Palm Desert, CA. This is our annual celebration party after the Women's Golf season. The evening included, dinner, awards and great entertainment. This year's theme was "Dancing with the Haven Stars." You could hear plenty of laughter and cheering throughout the evening. The above video is a sneak preview of the show. I am currently editing the GNO movie and will soon have on DVD.

In the above photo, the judges were waving signs with their votes. If I were a judge, I would give every dancer a perfect 10! They were all fantastic, even the judges.

Woodhaven - Girl's Night Out

Well, it's that time of the year again. We had our annual "Girl's Night Out" on Tuesday, April 15th, 2008. There were lots of laughs and live entertainment that included the following:

1-Woodhaven Retired Men's Marching Drill Team (Way too funny)
2-Sharon dressed as Cher singing "It's in his kiss" (this was great!)
3-Paul McCartney's Tribute to WCC Women's Golfers (written by Sandy & Diana)
4-That's What You Do When You're in Love (Wow! I didn't know Carol could sing)
5-Boot Scootin Boogy Line Dancers (Great line dancing!)

Then after the performance, everyone was invited to Elaine's house to party. This is a tradition that she does every year for "Girl's Night Out." A big THANK YOU goes to Elaine, for all the wonderful parties she has given us through the years.

Another big THANK YOU also goes to Betty who organized "Girl's Night Out 2008" and to all the ladies who were brave enough to perform for this event. I thought Jolene did a super job as the MC.
