We were at the mall with our granddaughter when we saw these cute and adorable puppies through a pet store window. So hard to resist! No, we're not getting another puppy (sigh)! Just looking!

Remembering Pumpkin

Today marks the one year anniversary of our dog Pumpkin's passing. We had him 17 years and he was a huge part of our lives. This past year has been an emotional void in the absence of our little guy.

Pumpkin was a wonderful dog that gave us unconditional love and we shared a very special bond. Every time we go in the car, I visualize him in his lambswool pet-seat looking out the window wagging his tail like he always did. I like to think that Pumpkin is at that place called The Rainbow Bridge and having a grand time.

Dog Park

While my sister was visiting us for a couple of days, she wanted to take her dog Bella out to a park. We drove all around the desert, however, most of the parks were closed due to reseeding. Then after asking around, we finally found a dog park in La Quinta that was opened.

We put Bella in the small to middle size dog section. Bella had a great time and she made all kinds of friends. There was a whole lot of hand shaking going around (if you know what I mean). LOL!

Barkies Boutique

My sister and I went shopping at Barkies Boutique for dogs. Barkies has a kiosk located outside at The River next to The Century Theater. We looked at all of their cute pet clothes, dog bowls, collars and puppy strollers. All the pet clothes were marked down to $10. The sales lady told us they will be opened until the end of November. We had Bella, my sister's chihuahua, try on a few outfits. Watch the video.
