Over the Memorial weekend we hiked at the Oak Glen Preserve with my sister, Marie. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, so green and lush. It was at least 20 degrees cooler there then here in Palm Desert. The two mile hike was easy with elevation gain at 300 feet. The preserve features several apple orchards along the trail.
