Vacation: Grand Canyon Lightning Show - Part 6

One evening a storm swept across the canyon. I stood outside the lobby on the west terrace with my camera in hand hoping to capture the perfect lightning bolt (along with other photographers). It was like going to a show. Everyone oohed and aahed with every flash. Some with disappointment because they missed their shot and others yelled with joy when they got it with their cameras.

After I captured a few shots of the lightning, we went back to our cabin before the storm came any closer. It did enter my mind, what are the chances of getting hit with lightning while using an electronic device. Oh well, it didn't happen and I'm here uploading the video to show you.

Great travelogue!... I especially liked the "rustic" cabin. Hopefully, now that you are close to Bryce Canyon that you included it in your travels...

Thanks, ARH! Unfortunately, we didn't go to Bryce because we ran out of time and already had reservations at a hotel in Sedona. We loved it so much at the GC we'll definitely come back another time and include Bryce for our next vacation.
