Playing Golf Polker

We played an interesting card game at our friends, Peter and Mitzi's, house called Golf Polker. It is played using two standard 52 card decks. Initially, we each were dealt 6 cards face-down from the shuffled deck. The remainder of the stock pile was placed face-down on the table with a face-up card (the discard pile) next to it. The goal of each player is to reduce the value of cards in front of him by replacing them with lesser-value cards or pairing them up with same-value cards.
We played 18 rounds of golf (cards). The host, Peter ended up winning. I thought the golf card game was a lot more fun than playing a real game of golf! At least I came in second instead of last Like I always do in golf....LOL!
