Yesterday, a bunch of us from Woodhaven were invited to play Mah Jongg and have lunch at our friend's country club. Helga lives at the luxurious new resort called Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells. We were treated like the royal family there and had a great time.
First we had continental breakfast and later freshly baked cookies while playing Mah Jongg. At noon we went to the dinning room area where the atomosphere was warm and elegant. The room had large windows with spectacular views of the Toscana Golf Course and the Santa Rosa Mountains.
I had one of the best club sandwiches I ever had for lunch. It was so huge I had to peel some of the layers off to eat the sandwich. It came with match stick fries, one of my favorites. After eating all that, I also had a couple of scoops of icecream for desert. So I pigged out....it was definitely worth it!
