Police giving out tickets!

One of my friends got a ticket yesterday for speeding in Palm Desert off of Fred Waring. She said there were several motorcyle cops giving out tickets like it was a field day. The speed limit use to be 50, until it became a construction site. Now the speed limit is 35. I'm glad my friend warned me about it. I would have been another statistic for getting a ticket too. So if you happen to be in Palm Desert driving down Fred Waring or Cook street, slow down, the cops are on the look out for speeders.

Here's a news article I found in the Palm Desert News:
Police are trying to crack down on speeders to make our roads a little safer. A group of motorcycle cops patrolled Cook Street in Palm Desert earlier this afternoon, as well as a construction site along Fred Waring. They wanted to remind folks to slow down and pay attention, but many drivers ended up paying fines instead. Read more here
