Mary Fondas Awards Night and Tournament

On April 11, 2011, the Woodettes had their end of season putting tournament and awards. The theme this year was Hawaiian. The event was named after Mary Fondas who is the founder of the Woodhaven Putters. Watch the above video.

Putting on the Ritz 2006

Woodhaven C.C. hosted the Putter's Invitational called Putting on the Ritzs. The putter teams came from Sun City, Mission Hills, Iron Wood, Desert Island, Marrakesh, and Indian Wells. It almost looked like Easter today with all the colorful pastel shirts the teams wore to represent their country club.

Congratulations to Chris Lidyard, from Woodhaven C.C. who became the Champion of the tournament with an overall low gross of 35! Way to go Chris! Also congratulations to all the team winner's
of their country club.

The decorations looked fantastic and the lunch was delicious! I thought everyone on the committee did a wonderful job putting this fun event together.
