Hood Canal Scenic Drive - Washington State

Our friends Jack and Diane took us on a scenic drive around the Hood Canal in Washington State on Wednesday, August 8th. The Hood Canal is a large finger of Puget Sound that lies west of Seattle/Tacoma and borders the Olympic National Park. The above video shows a few highlights of our trip.

Just so you know, the roads can be bit winding. Got car sick, should have taken Dramamine, however I still enjoyed the awesome views.

Driving Southern Oregon

Today we drove from Ashland Oregon to Coos Bay. Miles of natural beauty! Watch the above video of our drive.

Driving Around Oahu's Shore

After visiting the Halona Blowhole we drove a little ways along the coast and stopped at a macadamia nut farm called Tropical Farms Hawaii. There we had free samples of their macadamia nuts and Kona coffee.

We started to get hungry so we drove a little ways up the coast and stopped at Jameson's By The Sea and had a wonderful lunch. I had the Vegetable Spring Rolls that I really enjoyed!

After lunch we drove to the North Shore Marketplace and did a little window shopping.

Then we stopped at the Dole Plantation for dessert and had their famous pineapple ice cream.

Driving on the way back after a fun day, we saw a full rainbow to make our day complete!

Sunday Evening Drive

It was a beautiful Sunday evening drive. The clouds were shining so brightly.
