Blue Mountains and Hurricane Ridge Hike

Last Thursday we hiked the Blue Mountains and Hurricane Ridge in Washington's Olympic National Park. The slopes are heavily forested with pine and Douglas fir and has spectacular views. Loved the patches of snow on Hurricane Ridge! We also saw a few deer roaming around throughout our trek.

Deer on Hurricane Ridge Mountain

We did two hikes today: one at Blue Mountain and the other at Hurricane Ridge. At both places we saw deer everywhere! The deer you see in the above video were at Hurricane Ridge. I get so excited when I see a deer! The locals in the Northwest think nothing of it because deer are so common there. I suppose, we do the same thing when it comes to our roadrunners in the Palm Springs area.

FYI: Most of the videos I'm posting here are in no particular order. Some take much longer to edit then others. I'm only posting the ones that are simple and don't require a lot of edits. So stay tuned...more videos of our trip will be posted here soon!

Oh! Deer!

We saw a female deer eating white flowers off of a bush while riding in a car. Watch the above video.

Oh, dear! I used the wrong dear at the end of my video. Should have read deer.
