Aaaah! Just what I need!

I love my coffee in the morning, don't you? Just what I need to get my day started. We just got back from San Clemente late last night. Meeting some friends for lunch this afternoon and hopefully be able to post more video of our vacation in Hawaii. If not today, possibly tomorrow. Stay tuned...

Coffee Choices

One of the many reasons I love my new single cup coffee maker is that I have a variety of coffee to choose from. Although single cup coffee makers may not be for everyone, it definitely fits my busy schedule. I made this video to share with Coffee Convo.

Cast Iron Coffee Mill

We used an antique replica of a cast iron coffee mill for the first time. We found out that choosing the right grind size influences how the brew tastes. If the grind is too coarse, the brew can be weak. If it's too fine, it can be bitter. After adjusting the blade level on the grinder, the brew came out perfect! Here's a video I made of my husband using the coffee mill.

New Coffee Maker

We just purchased the Breville Gourmet Single Cup Brewer. I think the stainless steel look goes well in our kitchen. It makes a great cup of coffee without the mess.

Hot Java From The Press

Hot Java From The Press from Linda McClure on Vimeo.

Hot java from the press is all I need to get wired up! I've had my mini HD camera for over a year (had it replaced three times for repairs). I mainly shot my footage in standard mode. Now that Vimeo let's you post in high definition on line, I'll be shooting more in HD.

The biggest issue I have using my small HD camera is keeping it steady. I had to use a tripod for most of the footage. Trying to keep the camera steady in my hand after drinking coffee is not an easy task.
