Wild Lights at The Living Desert - Palm Desert, CA

The Living Desert in Palm Desert does a great job displaying all the lights. It was so much fun watching our granddaughter enjoy the lights, even though she didn't like Santa Clause.

Did you ever see a blue frog? Well we saw one at the desert zoo along with other exotic birds and animals. Watch the above video I took yesterday. Sorry, some of the footage is a bit shaky (should have used a tripod).

The above snake video was taken at The Living Desert. I'm sorry I don't know what kind of snake it is. I was too scared to hang around after I saw it's tongue sticking out!

Blind Owl - Wildlife Hospital

After we saw the butterflies at The Living Desert, we visited the Wildlife Hospital & Conservation Center. The above video clip is about an owl named Einstein, who got hit by a car which left him blind.

Below is a picture I took with my iPhone of the inside of the Wildlife Hospital. I also saw two neighbors from Woodhaven that are volunteers there. Click on the following image to view more pictures.

Butterfly Video 2

Here's another video I made of the butterflies only this time with my old tape camcorder. The previous video was done on a mini high definition camera (quality much better).

You will see the butterflies in action here. I had to get on my hands and knees to capture this footage, but it was worth it!
