On a cloudy New Year's Day, I heard a loud sound of a hot air balloon floating over the top of our roof. So I brought my camcorder out and filmed a few shots of the two balloons that went by. It's not unusual to see hot air balloons come this close (watch above video).

I saw a couple of hot air balloons floating across the sky this afternoon from my patio. It's not unusual for the balloons to float by everyday when the weather is nice and calm.

A couple of days ago I saw a hot air balloon through my upstairs window. It was cloudy that day so the colors seemed a little washed out in the video. Also I had dirty windows which showed up in the footage. Sorry about that. It forced me to wash my windows the next day! LOL!

It's not unusual to see these hot air balloons land so close. Looking forward going to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in January.

I was a passenger in the car when I saw a hot air balloon floating across the sky. I happen to have my mini camera in my purse. So I rolled down my window and filmed this short clip while waiting on a traffic light. As I was filming, a small plane (left the sound in it) flew over the balloon.

This footage is a bit shaky because the camera was hand held and zoomed in.

Hot Air Balloons

Hi everyone, I'm back! Hope you all had a great Christmas.

Well it's that time of the year again. The hot air balloons are starting to fill our skies in Palm Desert, California. So I grabbed my camcorder yesterday to capture the beautiful balloons. The video was taken right from my own back yard. It was an awesome day. Watch the video.
