We visited the Bonneville Lock and Dam, a National Historic Landmark that generated electricity for the entire Northwest. We found the fish ladders very interesting. There is a collection system that draws the fish to the ladders. This allows the fish to swim through a restriction that enables counting of all the fish going up stream.
