This Sunday we did the Cove to Lake Cahuilla Trail, a moderate 6 mile hike with an elevation change of 548 feet. The trail follows along the wash next to The Quarry golf course, a private desert country club. On our previous hike to this trail we saw several Bighorn Sheep but not today. Instead we saw roadrunners, pelicans, ants, long distance swimmers and a flock of birds behaving strangely.
