Museum Trail Hike - Palm Springs, CA

Yesterday we hiked the Palm Springs Museum Trail. We parked our car at the Museum's north parking lot and started our trek from there.

The Lykken and Skyline Trails cross connect to the Museum Trail. We started at an elevation of 600 feet and reached to the top at 1400 feet. Then took the South Lykken Trail back down to Ramon Road.

The hike was very strenuous but a good work out. The guys wore gloves to protect their hands climbing over some rocks. When we reached to the top, there were picnic tables to rest on. We saw spectacular views of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. That was one of the reasons why we chose this trail.
