Desert Wildflowers

Desert Wildflowers - Joshua Tree National Park from Linda McClure on Vimeo.

We once drove through Joshua Tree National Park, but never stopped to see the wildflowers. This time we stopped to shoot the flowers. No one got hurt, except me. I was attacked by a giant cactus. I still have the thorn in my arm, ouch! I got to find my tweezers.

There were not a lot of wildflowers this time of year (you were right, Brigitte). I noticed the cactus were all scorched. Probably from the last fire we had out here several months ago. Very sad, however, the cactus still looked beautiful to me.
