Air Force One
Air Force One 27000 from Linda McClure on Vimeo.
We went to the Ronald Reagan Library last week with our friends Brigitte and Dennis. I'll post a couple of videos this week highlighting the museum.
This first footage you will see the Air Force One 27000. Richard Nixon was the first president to use the plane in 1973. Seven presidents, Nixon, ford, Carter, Reagan, H.W. Bush, Clinton and W. Bush flew the 27000. The plane was transported to the Reagan Library by truck, on a specially designed trailer crossing four freeways, traveling 104 miles. The truck departed San Bernardino on June 20, 2003 and arrived at the Reagan Library hilltop on June 21, 2003. Air Force One opened to the public on October 24, 2005.
