Vacation Begins

We drove to San Clemente yesterday and planned on staying for a couple of days. Then travel up north to Carmel, California.

Our dog Pumpkin is a good traveler. He slept in his lambs wool car seat through the two and a half hour drive. We hardly knew he was around!

It's a small world...I ran into a couple of friends I hadn't seen in years. I was walking in the downtown area of San Clemente, when I heard someone yell my name. I hadn't seen this couple in about 10 years. It was amazing that they remembered me! They were visting family too and were on their way to a wine tasting party.
