Model Train Display

Model Train Display
Video sent by desertnut
It's unusual to see an LGB Model Train Display in the middle of a zoo. It's also the world's longest wooden "G" scale trestle. The scenic railway consist of the old Indio train station, the California logging and mining town, Mount Rushmore, Swiss Alps, Grand Canyon and much more. This is definitely a must see when visiting The Living Desert!

Unfortunately, the above video doesn't show the big picture (all the historic scenic views). I was more focused on the trains coming towards me. My mom and I were too tired to walk another mile to see the rest of the exhibit. I'll have to come back another time to see the rest.

LOL...you know "LGB" also stands for "lesbian, gay, bisexual"!! There was a time when we saw a lot of displays like this, when a friend of ours was into model trains, but haven't seen one in a long time.
