Hopeful Contestants

It's not always easy to be chosen as a contestant for a game show. My mom begged me to go with her on Saturday for an interview. So off we went. When we got there, the lines were wrapped around the building. I wanted to go home but after looking at my mom's puppy dog eyes, I gave in.

While standing in line, we were given an application to fill out. There were around a dozen questions to be answered on the form. My mother made me chuckle over some of the answers she filled out on her application. Here's a couple I remember:

What is the next milestone in your life if you do not make the show?
My mother's answer: To die!

What is the most daring and dangerous thing you have ever done?
My mother's answer: Marrying my first husband knowing him for only two weeks.

Now I know what it's like waiting in line for hours just to get a one in a million chance to be a contestant. We had a lot of laughs and met a lot of nice people along the way. I even made new friends. It was a great experience and I'm glad I went.

Watch the above video from Saturday. Another video will be posted later to find out what happened and who got picked.

A cliffhanger, eh? I don't know that I would have the patience to stand in line that long. Looks like people were having fun, though--did you ever find out if that was Howie or not?
