Sunset - Desert Fires


Sunset Desert Fires

Palm Desert, California is surrounded by beautiful mountains. On the other side of these mountains are fires everywhere. All started by Mother Nature (lightening). The fires have been burning for several days. Firemen and communities are still working hard trying to put it out. Even though our skies were surrounded with smoke and haze, the sunset at Woodhaven last night was awesome. Watch the above video.

The fires have been so bad--and it's so early in the season. But they do make for beautiful skies I admit. Are you getting the smell of smoke too?

I smell smoke every now and then. I'm probably getting use to the smell of smoke and don't notice it as much. It also depends on the wind factor too.
