Vloggercon Saturday Clip 1

Watch the Video

The above video clip is one of many that I've taken at Vloggercon. It will be presented in chronological order. The beginning video was taken in San Francisco June 10th, 2006. We took the subway to Vloggercon which was held at the Swedish American Hall on Market Street in San Francisco.

The first person I met when we arrived at the convention center was Bev Sykes. She was one of the volunteers on the committee for Vloggercon. She was checking everyone in and giving out name tags. Bev has been my inspiration on video blogging from the start. I stumbled on her sites called Funny the Vlog and Funny The World several months ago. I enjoy her videos and blog because I can relate to them. She's a very talented lady. It was great to meet her in person. Bev also took Gordon and I on a tour of San Francisco, her old stomping grounds. I have some videos I took of that tour, I'll show later.

I also met other vloggers that I enjoy their sites too, such as the Richard Show, Rocketboom, Steve Garfield's Video Blog, Josh Leo, pjkproductions, Karmagrrrl, Kitykity, and Missbhavens. They all have a unique style of their own.

For my friends and family who don't know what Vloggercon is (I copied this from their web site): It's the intersection between media-makers and technology. A space for dialog and interaction. Of creation and collaboration. A media village born on the internet, and making camp for one weekend in San Francisco.

What fun to see your first video. I can hardly wait to see if we had fun the rest of the weekend or not! LOL.
