Gasoline for Redemption

Click on above image to view movie

My husband and I turned in our plastic containers and aluminum cans at 4 cents each for redemption. Then used the money to buy gasoline at $3.27 per gallon. We end up getting a little over 3 gallons of gasoline for turning in our bottles and cans (plus all our efforts). I guess it's better than nothing...lol!

What they ought to do is tie those redemption machines into the gas station. You put in your recycle-ables and the amount is deducted from your gas bill! It would certainly encourage more recycling.

LOL! Although, I think that's an excellent idea!
