I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. My morning started off by receiving a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my friends Darlene, John and their dog Mack. Then in the afternoon my other friends, Mary, Eva, Linda, Carol and San took me out to lunch to celebrate my birthday. We went to Mamma Gina Ristorante, a great Italian restaurant on El Paseo. The food was delicious and we had a good time. Then in the evening Gordon, my mom and I went to China Wok for dinner. Boy am I stuffed!
I want to thank everyone again for all the gifts, birthday cards, e-mails and e-cards that were sent to me. I use to dread counting my years. Then I realized how fortunate I am for having a wonderful family, friends, a loving husband and good health.....that's all that really counts!
