Yesterday a friend invited me to see a play called The Glory of Easter at the Crystal Cathedral. We took the bus from my friend's church at noon. Then we stopped at the HomeTown Buffet in Anahiem to have a early dinner just before we arrived at the Crystal Cathedral. No cameras were allowed inside the show area, which is understandable. However, I was able to take a few pictures of the statues and garden outside. There were so many things to see. A gentleman who worked there spotted me and my friend and gave us a special tour of the surrounding areas from the top of the building. Later, a couple that rode on the same bus with us wanted the same tour. They were denied access in the building. I guess my friend and I were lucky to get chosen out of a crowd for a free tour. Aren't we special! LOL!
Then at 6:00 p.m. we went inside the Crystal Cathedral to see the play. This was the most fantastic Easter play I ever saw. Flying angels soared over our heads while live animals parade down the aisles. I really enjoyed The Glory of Easter and thought the cast and special effects were spectacular!
