Yesterday evening, my mother, husband and I went to Dairy Queen to get an ice cream. I love Dairy Queen more than 31 Flavors ice cream. There's something about Dairy Queen vanilla ice cream that I'm addicted to. I practically go everyday for a vanilla ice cream on a cone. This time I got a Banana Split instead and talked my mom into getting one too. She was all for it and she made sure they didn't forget the nuts on top. Gordon stuck with the vanilla ice cream on a cone.
While my mom and I was enjoying our Banana Split, we were wondering how many calories were in it. Gordon told us it's probably over a thousand calories. My mom guessed at 700. So when I got home, I looked up Dairy Queen Banana Split on the Internet. I was amazed that a DQ Banana Split is only 510 calories. They didn't mention about the nuts on top. So I'm assuming that's probably extra.
What I thought was amazing is a large Snicker Bar has 528 calories. So if I had to choose between a Snicker and a Banana Split, I go for the Banana Split. Wouldn't you?
