We had a great time celebrating New Year's Eve with my mom, friends, and neighbors at our country club. Poor Darlene, after the party she broke her wrist in three places. She was getting out of her car when her heel got caught in her long evening dress. Now she'll be needing surgery to get her wrist in place before they put a cast on it. What a way to start the New Year! Bummer!I'm so glad Gordon recorded the Rose Bowl Parade today, I'll watch it tomorrow. It's too bad that it rained on our parade for the first time in 51 years! The Rose Bowl in Pasadena always lucked out and had sunny weather for many years until today. I bet the people up North and back East were surprised just as much as we were! I did watch a little bit of it this morning. I felt sorry for all those who were in the parade getting drenched. I wondered how they played their musical intruments so well while getting soaked. What troopers they were!
I've been busy part of the day uploading pictures to my web site that I took on New Year's Eve. Also made a movie and a Flash slide show. That's part of the reason why I'm posting my blog so late today.
Click on above image to view movie in QuickTime. Unable to see the movie? Try viewing it in PhotoShow (slideshow instead of a movie) by double clicking here. Also go to my photo web site to see all the pictures that were taken of the party here. If you're using Dial Up, the movie won't work but the PhotoShow in Flash should work.
