Yesterday we went to Big O Tires and replaced all the tires on the Jimmy. The sales person told us that our old tires, Bridgestone was not one of the recalls. Even though I like the looks of the Bridgestone tires, I decided not to replace my old for new because I still felt they're inferior when it comes to safety. That's just my opinion.
I replaced the tires with Big Foot A/T tires that are the standard size to fit on a sports utility car. When I first saw it, I didn't like it. I almost had them take it off and put larger tires on. The problem is, the larger tires rub against the frame of the suv when turning the wheel. So I kept the ones we originally chose.
Even though I'm afraid of Bridgestone tires safety, I did however, liked the appearance better. Well, at least I will feel safer in the new tires. By the time these tires wear out, I'll be ready for a new car.
