Apple to Use Intel Microprocessors Beginning in 2006 This is great news! It's time for Gordon and I to buy a new computer. I think we'll wait until after the first edition comes out. This way all the bugs can be tweaked out of the first batch.
I have a Compaq Presario computer bought in 1996, which is now a dinosaur. At the time it was the State of the art computer with all the bells and whistles. It was faster than any computer I had at work back then. In today's world, it is slower than molasses.
In recent years, we had purchased two Macs and didn't have a need to buy a new pc. I also found out, that after using Mac OS X, it was way more superior to Windows. There was however, a few disadvantages using a Mac, I was unable to use some applications because it was made for Windows only. Now with the new Apple/Intel we could have the best of two worlds!
