Woodettes' Xmas Brunch

Yesterday was our annual Woodettes' Christmas Brunch Party and we had a great time. The first thing we did was putt in the morning and then had our Xmas brunch. The chefs cooked a wonderful omelette anyway you want it. It was great! We also did a gift exchange by playing "take away" which was kinda fun.

What a difference a week makes. Last week I showed up late at Putters and almost got a penalty. There's a new rule if you show up late for Putters, there's a one stroke penalty. Thank goodness, Donna (our president) forgave me. I hadn't been at Putters all year and I didn't know the new rule. Poor San who was late too, was not so lucky. She got a one stroke penalty because she knew the new rule. I was wondering why she walked in with her finger up in the air. LOL!

Last week while putting, I got two aces but couldn't make the third. An ace is when you sink a putt with one stroke. When you make three aces in the same day, you're rewarded with a birdie pin. So many women in Putters have birdie pins all over their collars and I haven't accomplished not even one. Well, that has changed this week. I finally made three aces! Now I feel real special. I got the best Christmas present of all at Putters.... I got my birdie pin!
