Christmas Pumpkin Bear

My dog, Pumpkin is the apple of my eye. He does the cutest little things and always snooping into something. I remember a couple of years ago, I found Pumpkin under the Christmas tree asleep snuggled up next to an over stuffed teddy bear. So I grabbed my camera to take that Kodak moment. Unfortunately, he woke up just as I snapped the picture. As you can see in the above photo, he looks a little sleepy.

One other Christmas, I remember I bought him a basket filled with rawhide chewie sticks and dog toys. The basket was wrapped in clear plastic. I had put it in my sewing room upstairs where I stacked all the other presents (I didn't have a tree that year). While I was in the living room reading the newspaper, I saw Pumpkin with a chewie stick in his mouth. So I ran upstairs to see what he did to the basket (he wasn't suppose to have it until Xmas). I couldn't believe my eyes! Pumpkin had poked his nose in the seams of the plastic wrap and carefully removed one rawhide chewie stick. Nothing else got disturbed in the basket and the plastic wrap went back into place. It looked like it was never tampered with. Now that's what I call a clever little Shih Tzu!
