Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the houseNot a iMac was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
Pumpkin was nestled, all snug in "MY" bed,
While visions of chewie toys danced in his head.
That sure sounds familiar.....I remember when I was a little girl, how excited I was on Christmas eve. In fact, one Xmas eve my sister and I left Santa a Moon Pie and a glass a milk on the kitchen table. That same evening, I looked out my bedroom window and thought I saw Santa on a sleigh with his reindeers high up in the sky. I woke up my little sister and made her look too. We honesty believed, we saw Santa Claus that snowy night in Bridgeport, Connecticut.....or we both experienced the most wonderful vivid imagination simultaneously!
It was great to be a kid not having a care in the world, just the anticipation of opening our presents on Christmas day. It was a joyful time and those were the days that I will never forget.
Here's wishing to my family, friends and all who read my blog a wonderful and joyful Christmas eve!
