Voicemail Jail

My biggest pet peeve is calling a big company and reaching an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system and not being able to talk to a human body. Then after being put on hold and what seems like waiting forever, I'm sent to the wrong department! After pressing several numbers on my touch tone pad, I end up lost again, trapped in their IVR system and no one to hear my cries! To me it's IVR abuse and I feel like I was put in Voicemail Jail!

Thanks to a friend who gave me the key by e-mailing me this cool web site called IVR Cheat Sheet by Paul English. The IVR Cheat Sheet takes you away from the Voicemail Jail and helps you get to a live person when you are calling a company for service.
