We celebrated Jim's (my grandfather), 91st birthday yesterday. One thing for sure, he looks a lot younger then his 91 years!
In honor of Jim's birthday, we went to a nice little Italian restaurant called Cucina Pasta in Palm Desert. We all started off by having a antipasto salad. The best part was the homemade bread. Just the smell of the bread alone, made us hungry for even more! Jim had spaghetti and meatballs. He said it was good, but not as good as my grandmothers sauce. My mom had Minestrone soup and a Italian sandwich. Gordon had sausage and spaghetti and I had the cheese ravioli. Then we sang "Happy Birthday." I think Jim enjoyed his birthday...he ate all his cake and spumoni icecream!
