This morning my husband sat outside our patio with dog on lap, book in one hand, and a cup of coffee on the other. Gordon loves reading books. The above picture is so typical of what my husband does every morning.
Our house is constantly surrounded with books. It's amazing how many books Gordon can read in such a short time. He reads books such as The Da Vinci Code, Retreat Hell, Four Blind Mice, Blow Out, The Jester, Education of a Wondering Man, Dirty Work, Survivor In Death, and a slew of others.
Unlike Gordon, my attention span reading books causes me to yawn after reading just a few pages. The only written material I can read without falling asleep is The National Enquirer, National Examiner, Globe, Star, Us, and People Magazine. I think I have A.D.D. in reading like I do in golf....but that's another story.
When Gordon's not reading books, he downloads technical magazines off the computer to read. I guess that's why he's so smart. Whenever I ask him a question, I always get a lot more information than I asked for. Hey, but that's o.k., I still love him and I think I'll keep him for a while (lol)!
It's moments like this I tell myself how fortunate I am to have a good husband, a cute dog, and a wonderful life.
