One of my Hawaii photos got published!

Last September, I uploaded a bunch of photos I took of Hawaii on Flickr, a web site to share photographs. Then two months later I received a Flckr e-mail from Schmap, a publisher of free travel guides throughout the world. One of my photos has been short-listed for inclusion in the ninth edition of their Honolulu Guide. The Guide will be published at the end of this month.


Then last week I was informed that my photo was selected for inclusion in the newly released ninth edition of the Schmap Honolulu Guide, whoo hoo! While I didn't think my picture was extraordinary, I've done better, I was still pleased they liked my photograph and to get the recognition (see above picture).
